What States and Territories are under the Austroads Training Scheme?

- Northern Territory

Can I use my TMA qualification all over Australia?
The TMA qualification RIIRTM301E is valid in all Sates and Territories, excluding Western Australia. To obtain a WA TMA qualification, please contact a Training provider on WA to transfer your qualification.
WA sets a very high standard for the use of TMA, so before you can obtain a TMA qualification you need the minimum, listed below
- Hold a current and valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s license or higher, to operate the TMA
- You must have evidence of at least 80 hours experience in operating heavy vehicles within the last 6 months;
- Hold a valid Work Safe WA Construction Safety Awareness Training Card (commonly referred to as White Card);
- Hold a current Main Roads WA Basic Worksite Traffic Management Accreditation;
- You must have evidence of at least 50 hours practical experience in traffic management within the last 6 months.
